Why does it refuse to take Pings sometimes? Highly annoying.

According to the local news they are trying to ban bonfires on Bonfire Night. One of the reasons: it’s too nationally exclusive. It’s a commemoration of a political event in England. The only place they have bonfires is England so anyone who lives in England should/could celebrate it. As a Tanzanian recently said to me about Eid “it’s not my festival but any excuse for a party” – and they’re the less developed people?!
I’ve joined and it’s addictive – oh goody something else to fill my day.
I have got a rule though: unless I know you in real life you cannot be my friend!
