I could be accused of being rash but I’ve decided to go to Africa for two months!
I’ve never done the traditional year out thing (well I was supposed to but a nasty car crash put paid to my travel plans) so I’ve decided to take a career break. For the first time in my life I don’t really have anything keeping me in the UK and there are some areas of my life that might benefit from some breathing space. It’s a terrifying concept on many levels but - at the moment - such a challenge seems less scary than my life continuing in its current form.
Of course the decision has put me into organisational overdrive and I’m seriously going to have to get my shit together. May be it’s just the challenge I need?
